'Night'

Night,
You asked that I suck away your silence
that you now live on the outskirts of yourself. So/

I began with our weakness
Your  ni**les:
black but pliant - pointy!

I tongued both with
my teeth,
here   and   there
You s w e l l e d,
and

woke in your spine/

I swam through like splitting
B
  ree
ze stitching
myself
back into your eyes/

Exacerbation from my
subtle plough
tore y  o  u
into s h  ards of shades/

Oh night!
You are a tide,
your silence soaked me/

I
Sai
      led
to your navel,
down

        to the valley
between your thigh-bone
you ar ch ed!
and ached in your teeth/

Sensation pained you!
you howled, and br oke
into vowels...
amassing back
like sands, blood and brine/

Nights, you! - you
vomited me away
from your eyes/

I strained my lips
Against yours
Our teeth
spoke for themselves
Your tongue
confronted mine/

You moaned with the moon,
murmuring my name/

Dear Night, it’s dawn/
