Hi mom,
May I ask you a question? Do you constantly fight a raging battle in your mind? Do you always have a war going on, where you're fighting- fighting mediocrity, laziness, self doubt, - you're just... fighting?
Do you wake up every single day constantly redefining your identity, who you are and what you do? I mean, yesterday's process should suffice, right?
Why do I have to wake up to the same routine and template of re-introducing myself to me? This is who I was yesterday and who I wanted to be. Why must I answer the same questions every single day, again and again!
Mom,
it's exhausting and tiring and absolutely emotionally draining. It drags me and makes me want to crawl underneath my Power-Puff-Girls themed duvet and cry, loudly, like a wailing baby who thirsts for milk.
Except, in my case, I thirst for a deep sense of peace of mind.
I crave a mind with no raging storms, settled. Just me, bouncing happily away like SpongeBob SquarePants and carrying on my journey to the top.
Wait...
Where even is my top? Oh, no! Here we go again constantly redefining. Sigh...
